Yale vs. Fairfield

2:30 PM ET

Yale has taken a step back defensively this season, allowing opponents to shoot 38.9% from 3-point range in road games this season and are overall 185th in points allowed on a per possession basis. Fairfield is allowing fewer points per possession in road and neutral court games than at home this season.

Fairfield +10.5 (Greg’s Handicap Fairfield +4)

Detroit vs. Wake Forest

4:00 PM ET

Detroit has cranked up their tempo under first-year coach Mark Montgomery, ranking 101st in total possessions per game entering Friday after ranking 222nd a season ago. Wake Forest, who shot 36.6% from 3-point range last season, with much of the same core as they currently have, should see their 29.2% 3-point shooting go northward.

Detroit vs. Wake Forest Over 144.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 154.5)

Maryland Eastern Shore vs. Illinois

4:00 PM ET

Maryland Eastern Shore was one of the last teams to hire a new coach this offseason, but coach Cleo Hill bringing his main point guard in KC Shaw with him from Winston-Salem State has worked wonders for this team, as they entered Friday 106th in points scored on a per possession basis on the road this season, a significant improvement from ranking 360th in points scored per possession in road games a season ago.

Maryland Eastern Shore +34 (Greg’s Handicap Maryland Eastern Shore +28)

Northern Illinois vs. DePaul

5:00 PM ET

DePaul completely overhauled last year’s roster and coaching staff under former Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann. So far, they are making 39% of their 3-point attempts and face a Northern Illinois defense that was 329th in the country in opponent 3-point shooting percentage last season and entered Friday ranked 314th this season.

Northern Illinois vs. DePaul Over 145 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 153.5)

St. Mary’s vs. Cal Poly

8:00 PM ET

While Cal Poly has cranked up their tempo significantly under first-year coach Mike DeGeorge, they now face a St. Mary’s team that last season was third in the country in points allowed on a per possession basis. Though St. Mary’s has been a bit shaky with their defense to begin the season, this team is still denying second chance opportunities, with just 19.8% of opponents missed shots resulting in an offensive rebound in their home games.

St. Mary’s vs. Cal Poly Under 150 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 142.5)
