    LIV Hong Kong

Joaquin Niemann won his second event of the year last weekend in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, by four strokes over Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel. Niemann is the second choice on the odds board at 8-1 behind event favorite Jon Rahm at 5-1, who finished fifth last week.

Bryson DeChambeau (12-1) finished fourth last week. Also at 12-1 is Talor Gooch, who finished sixth last week, and Tyrrell Hatton.

The contingent at 16-1 includes Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Cameron Smith, who was runner-up at the Hong Kong Open on this course in November.

    The Course

Hong Kong Golf Club, established in 1889, has been a fixture in professional golf for more than six decades.

The club has hosted the Hong Kong Open since 1959 and is part of the 2024 Asian Tour schedule as one of the 10 International Series tournaments.

The Hong Kong Open is one of just three events in the history of golf to be played at the same venue for more than six decades.

The course plays as a par-70 of 6,710 yards.

    Selections

    Bryson DeChambeau, 12-1

While this is a tight course, bomb and gougers, like Rory McIlroy and Scott Hend, have won here.

DeChambeau was ninth in Las Vegas and fourth last week in Jeddah.

    Adrian Meronk, 22-1

Meronk finished sixth (Jeddah) and ninth (Las Vegas) in his last two LIV events.

    Patrick Reed, 50-1

Reed has some of the most experience in the field on this golf course, having played the Hong Kong Open four times in the past nine years and finishing third on debut in 2015.
