LAS VEGAS–A historic Masters victory by Tiger Woods on Sunday was popular with almost everyone but bookmakers.

William Hill took an $85,000 wager on Woods at 14/1, and the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas took a $10,000 bet on Woods at 12/1.

The $85,000 wager, made at the William Hill book in the SLS Las Vegas on Tuesday, was worth $1,190,000. For William Hill, that payout is the biggest futures win for a customer on a single bet and the biggest golf win for a customer on a single bet.

“It’s great to see Tiger back," said Nick Bogdanovich, William Hill's director of trading in the U.S.  "It’s a painful day for William Hill – our biggest golf loss ever – but a great day for golf.”

When Masters futures were first posted In August, Woods opened as a co-favorite to win the tournament at 12/1 ( 1200) odds along with Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, Tiger Woods, Brooks Koepka, and Rory McIlroy.
