Mr. Ed’s Aqueduct Picks:

MR. ED RIDES AGAIN: When last seen, Mr. Ed was riding out of town on his high horse with saddle bags full of cash from his extraordinary (for him) Breeders’ Cup score. When all was said and won, he and his loyal VSiN followers cashed tickets worth $1,526, led by Sierra Leone’s upset win in the Breeders’ Cup Classic. While the bags of cash are long gone, my enthusiasm for handicapping is as genuine as ever. I’ll kick off my return at Aqueduct on Saturday, where the G2 Remsen and the ever-popular G2 Cigar Mile headline the excellent 10-race card, which begins at 11:40 a.m. ET/ 8:40 a.m. PT. Let’s take a look at Mr. Ed’s four graded stakes Aqueduct picks of the day.

Mr. Ed’s Picks at Aqueduct for Saturday, December 7

Race 4 (1:08 p.m. ET/10:08 a.m. PT) — $200K G3 GO FOR WAND STAKES for fillies and mares, 3YOs & up going a mile
Mr. Ed likes #8 SHIDABHUTI (9-2 morning line). What’s not to like? Seasoned filly’s got it all: top trainer Chad Brown; red-hot rider Dylan Davis; three wins at track; style suits stretch out to one-turn mile. She’s a mouthful, but sounds like a winner to me.
AQUEDUCT PICK: $10 to Win & Place on #8. ($20)

Race 7 (2:36 p.m. ET/10:36 a.m. PT) — $250K G2 REMSEN STAKES for 2 YOs going 1 ⅛-mile
My pick is #4 STUDLYDORIGHT (9-2 morning line) for MD-based conditioner John Robb, who knows where to spot his horses. The young colt has a win over the oval and should enjoy extra ground under regular rider Xavier Perez. Stud’s a value play.
AQUEDUCT PICKS: $10 to Win & Place and $5 Exacta boxes of 3,4,5. ($50)

Races 7-10 (2:36 p.m. ET/10:26 a.m. PT) $.50 Pick 4
R7: 3,4,5
R8: 1,8
R9: 5,7,9
R10:
4,6,7,8
MR. ED’s AQUEDUCT PICK: $72

Race 8 (3:05 p.m. ET/12:05 p.m. PT) — $250K G2 DEMOISELLE STAKES for 2YO fillies going 1 ⅛-mile
I can’t find a way to beat #1 MUHIMMA (4-5 morning line). Winner of only two starts, the young gal is trained by one of the game’s best, Brad Cox, who retains veteran jockey Florent Geroux. Look for a perfect stalking trip from a favorable inside post. The #1 is the one.
MR. ED’S PLAY OF DAY: $40 to Win. ($40)

Race 9 (3:35 p.m. ET/12:35 p.m. PT) — $500K G2 CIGAR MILE for 3YOs & up
Mr. Ed likes three for the money: #5 MULLIKIN (3-1 morning line) for trainer Rudy Brisset with rider Flavien Prat; #7 LOCKED (9-2) improving young son of Gun Runner retains rider Johnny Velazquez for HOF trainer Todd Pletcher, and #9 SENOR BUSCADOR (6-1) with Joel Rosario for Todd Fincher.
AQUEDUCT PICK:  $5 Exacta Bet of 5,7,9. ($30)

TOTAL WAGERS: $212

Mr. Ed: “A bad day at the track beats a good day anywhere else.”
