Kentucky Downs Picks for Sunday, September 7:
TRACKING MR. ED: Saturday’s richest racing day in the Commonwealth of Kentucky was punctuated by several stars, both equine and human. Stellify, Epic Ride, Plensa, Shisospicy, and Troubleshooting all won stakes with purse money of $1 million or more. Trainer Wesley Ward had a hat trick, while trainer Michael Maker, as well as jockeys Tyler Gaffalione, Flavien Prat, and Florent Geroux each had a pair of winners. Mr. Ed was not as fortunate. The average $2 Win ticket returned a hefty $18.58. Sunday’s 11-race card goes to post at 1:25 p.m. ET/10:25 a.m. PT. Sunny skies and a high in the mid-70s are expected. Here are Mr. Ed’s selections.
