#1 Cupid’s Dude (8-1 morning line odds) takes a big drop in class after a decent-enough effort in his first lap over the Tampa turf course. Trainer Juan Avila is doing everything right of late, and this horse has far out-earned his $10,000 claiming price since March. Expect him to be more into the race early on from the rail.
