Seattle Mariners vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Mariners starting pitcher George Kirby has a 4.50 ERA between the regular season and postseason despite a career-high 10 strikeouts per nine innings, and his 3.37 fielding-independent pitching (FIP) from the regular season points toward positive regression. The Blue Jays, meanwhile, lead the league in scoring since the All-Star Break with 5.6 runs per game and scored 13 runs in Game Three, which Kirby started earlier in the series. Toronto gives Shane Bieber the start on the mound; between the regular season and playoffs, he has a 3.67 ERA with over 1.6 home runs allowed per nine innings and now faces a Mariners lineup that ranks third in the league in road scoring with 5.1 runs per game.

Picks: Mariners Moneyline +100 and Over 7.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: Mariners -104, Total 7.9)
