Greg Peterson posts his daily handicapped MLB lines for every game every day. Based on his lines vs. the actual lines, here is where Peterson sees value on today’s menu. Peterson also does a daily podcast, The Baseball Betting Show, on which he breaks down every game every day.

Phillies vs. Rockies Total 11.5. Greg’s Total 12.7.

Phillies starter Taijuan Walker has seen his ERA balloon to 5.97 this season due to a drop in command as he’s issuing 4.4 walks per nine innings. A Phillies bullpen that was 26th in the league in ERA to start with now has closer Jose Alvarado on the injured list while Rockies starter Austin Gomber has a 10.66 ERA at Coors Field this season. The Rockies also lead the National League in home batting average while having a 5.81 home ERA, the worst in the National League.

Giants (-125) vs. Diamondbacks. Greg’s Line: Diamondbacks -117.

The Giants send John Brebbia to the mound as an opener for either a bullpen game or a Ross Stripling bulk appearance. Either scenario is bad for the Giants as Stripling allows 2.8 home runs per nine innings with a 6.66 ERA while the Giants bullpen has a 5.70 ERA, the worst in the National League. The Diamondbacks are hitting .286 at home this season, which ranks third in the league.

Cardinals vs. Red Sox Total 10. Greg’s Total 10.7.

Red Sox pitcher James Paxton is making just his sixth MLB start since the start of the 2020 season and posted a 6.23 ERA in the minor leagues. Adam Wainwright is tasked with slowing down the top offense in home batting average and is second in runs per game at home this season. He allowed four runs in five innings in his season debut against the Detroit Tigers last weekend.
