Greg Peterson posts his daily handicapped MLB lines for every game every day. Based on his lines vs. the actual lines, here is where Peterson sees value on today’s menu. Peterson also does a daily podcast, The Baseball Betting Show, on which he breaks down every game every day.

Rangers (-140) vs. Athletics. Greg’s Line: Rangers -212.

The Athletics start Drew Rucinski who posts an 8.14 ERA and 2.093 WHIP with the team losing all three of his starts by multiple runs. The Rangers lead the league in runs per game with more than 6.2 while Oakland backs up Rucinski with the worst bullpen ERA in the league and a lineup that is last in home batting average.

Cubs vs. Twins (-115). Greg’s Line: Cubs -118.

Since the start of the 2022 season, Cubs starter Marcus Stroman has a 1.94 road ERA, and he has allowed two runs or fewer in seven of his eight starts this season. Stroman faces a Twins lineup that is last in batting average at .222. The Twins look to support Louie Varland, who is making his ninth career start with a career 4.01 ERA, 4.54 FIP and 1.7 home runs per nine innings allowed, Varland is also facing a Cubs lineup that leads the National League with a .279 batting average.

Cardinals (-120) vs. Red Sox. Greg’s Line: Red Sox (-145)

Both starting pitchers enter with an ERA of 5.40 or worse, but the Red Sox offense has done a better job of supporting Corey Kluber with a league-leading .295 home batting average, and their 6.1 runs per game ranks second. The Cardinals are 25th in the league in runs per game on the road. Kluber has allowed three runs or fewer in each of his last three starts, all of which resulted in Red Sox wins.
