Miami Marlins vs. Washington Nationals

4:05 pm ET

Trevor Rogers has not been all that impressive this season, but he has averaged Over four strikeouts per game over his last five, and is fresh off a 5 K performance versus a difficult Guardians lineup.

On Saturday, the Marlins southpaw takes on the Washington Nationals. Over the last 30 days, the Nats have a team-wide 26.4% K rate against left-handed pitchers with a 14.1% swinging strike rate & a 32.3% chase rate.

It may not be pretty, but 3.5 is a very low bar considering the variables at play.

This bet is pure value based on a solid matchup and available pricing.

MLB Best Bet: Trevor Rogers o3.5 K (-130)

San Diego Padres vs. New York Mets

4:10 pm ET

Adam Mazur’s strikeout line seems off considering his performance to date.

In two outings (nine innings), the 23-year-old has registered seven walks and just four strikeouts. Mazur has also maxed out at 82 pitches.

Meanwhile, the Mets are a difficult matchup from a strikeout perspective. New York holds a 19.1% strikeout rate over the last 14 days versus righties with a 10.5% swinging strike rate and 26.8% chase rate.

Mazur’s line should be set at 3.5, so we are getting solid value backing the Under at 4.5

MLB Best Bet: Adam Mazur Under 4.5 K (-133)
