7:10 PM Eastern

Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets

Braves starting pitcher Spencer Schwellenbach owns a 3.26 ERA this season with 1.1 home runs and 1.5 walks per nine innings allowed. Mets starting pitcher Paul Blackburn has struggled with a 6.92 ERA in his four appearances since coming off the injured list. He has a lifetime 4.91 ERA with 1.2 home runs and 1.8 walks per nine innings allowed.
MLB Pick: Braves Moneyline -117 (Greg’s Handicap Braves -128)

New York Yankees vs. Cincinnati Reds

Reds starting pitcher Nick Lodolo has a career-low 7.8 strikeouts per nine innings. He allows just 1.2 home runs and 1.9 walks per nine innings with a 3.71 ERA. Allan Winans has lacked success at the big league level, posting a lifetime 7.20 ERA in his eight appearances in 2023 and 2024, but he has dominated at the AAA level this season with a 0.90 ERA and just one home run allowed in 50 innings.
MLB Picks: Yankees Moneyline -117 and Under 10 Runs (Greg’s Handicap Yankees -128 and Total 9.2)

7:40 PM Eastern

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Chicago White Sox

White Sox starting pitcher Shane Smith owns a 2.85 ERA with a 3.53 fielding independent, but is giving out 3.7 walks per nine innings. He is supported by a bullpen that ranks 21st in ERA at 4.30 and a lineup that is 28th in scoring with 3.5 runs per game.  Diamondbacks starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez has looked better since coming off the injured list, posting a 5.93 ERA overall for the season. He has allowed two runs or fewer in his three starts since coming off the injured list. Rodriguez is supported by a lineup that ranks third in scoring with 5.2 runs per game.
MLB Picks: Diamondbacks Moneyline -124 and Under 9 Runs (Greg’s Handicap Diamondbacks -142, Total 8.3)

7:45 PM Eastern

Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals

Cardinals starting pitcher Matthew Liberatore has allowed at least four earned runs in three of his past four starts. He owns a 4.08 ERA, but his 3.04 fielding independent with 0.8 home runs and 1.2 walks allowed per nine innings should lead to positive regression. Cubs starting pitcher Ben Brown has a 5.57 ERA, but only a 3.44 fielding independent with 10.7 strikeouts and 1.1 home runs per nine innings. Brown is backed up by a Cubs bullpen whose 2.39 ERA since May 1 entering Sunday led the league.
MLB Picks: Cardinals Moneyline -108 and Under 9 Runs (Greg’s Handicap Cardinals -122 and Total 8.3)

9:38 PM Eastern

Boston Red Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels

Red Sox starting pitcher Walker Buehler has had a rough season with a 5.95 ERA, with 1.8 home runs and 3.4 walks per nine innings. Angels starting pitcher Jack Kochanowicz has a 5.34 ERA with 1.8 home runs and 4.2 walks per nine innings. The team’s 5.27 bullpen ERA ranks 27th in the league.
MLB Picks: Red Sox Moneyline -119 and Over 9 Runs (Greg’s Handicap Red Sox -144 and Total 9.7)
