Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Saturday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Saturday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m going to keep these much shorter to cut down on my workload a little.

Brandon Woodruff Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-130) vs. Marlins

Brewers at Marlins – 4:10 pm ET

Woodruff has racked up at least six strikeouts in two of his three starts, and he should be excited about getting out there against the Marlins. Miami isn’t necessarily a team that strikes out a ton, which is true dating back to last season. But the Marlins don’t have a dangerous lineup, and I trust in Woodruff’s stuff to get him to five Ks here.

Samuel Basallo Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+140) vs. Guardians

Orioles at Guardians – 6:10 pm ET

Basallo’s numbers at the plate have been miserable early in his MLB career, but he’s a highly talented youngster and generally enjoys facing right-handed pitching. So, even against a red-hot Gavin Williams, I’ll take a shot on Basallo to finish with two or more HRR at +140 odds.

Andy Pages Over 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+115) vs. Rockies

Dodgers at Rockies – 8:10 pm ET

Pages has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball, as he’s batting .412 with five homers and 21 RBIs this season. The 25-year-old also had a hit, run, and RBI in last night’s game against the Rockies, marking the third time in four games that he has gone Over tonight’s HRR total. I’m going back to him here. This game has a very high total, as it’ll be played at Coors Field. Several players can cash in tonight, and Pages should be one of them.

Additional Picks

Will Warren Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-140 – 1.5 units) vs. Royals

MJ Melendez Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+128) vs. Cubs

Jeff McNeil Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-147) vs. White Sox

George Kirby Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-125) vs. Rangers
