Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Saturday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Saturday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m going to keep these much shorter to cut down on my workload a little.

Andrew Benintendi Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-115) vs. Phillies

White Sox at Phillies – 4:05 pm ET

This season, when facing righties, Benintendi is averaging 2.0 hits, runs, and RBIs (HRR) per game. Well, that makes it hard not to like him at reasonable odds to finish with 2+ HRR against the Phillies. Andrew Painter will be on the mound for Philadelphia, and he brings a 6.42 ERA into this one. I like the matchup.

Nick Kurtz Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110) vs. Astros

Athletics at Astros – 4:10 pm ET

Kurtz has failed to go Over 1.5 HRR in back-to-back games, but I’m always going to be tempted to play him against righties. He’s averaging 2.4 HRR per game against right-handed starters this year, and his ability to quickly change games with an extra base hit makes him a good player to back in this market. The matchup tonight also happens to be quite strong, and the venue isn’t particularly pitcher friendly.

Masataka Yoshida Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+104) vs. Yankees

Red Sox at Yankees – 7:35 pm ET

Yoshida hasn’t had a great season, but he’s averaging 2.1 HRR per game against righties over the last seven games. He’s in a nice rhythm up at the plate, and I do like the matchup with the lefty slugger going up against righty Will Warren in a hitter friendly ball park.
