2024-25 NBA Win Totals:

There’s still some things that need to be sorted out in the offseason, but DraftKings Sportsbook released regular season win totals for the 2024-25 NBA season. Almost every team currently has a number on the board, but the Golden State Warriors, Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls aren’t yet there. Those three teams still have some work left to do in building their rosters — and Utah is currently listening to calls on Lauri Markkanen. However, there’s still plenty to look at here. With that in mind, keep reading for all of the 2024-25 NBA regular season win totals that are currently available. I’ll also give out a few that I think are worth betting right now.

2024-25 Regular Season Win Totals – Best Bets

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks only won 49 games last season, so it’s a little surprising to see their total at 51.5. I understand that this will be Year 2 of the Damian Lillard-Giannis Antetokounmpo-Khris Middleton trio. Milwaukee will also have a full offseason to implement Doc Rivers’ system. However, this team was a bit of a nightmare defensively for most of last season, and this core isn’t getting any younger. Antetokounmpo is still firmly in the prime of his career, but Lillard, Middleton and Brook Lopez have all seen a dip in production. That’s only going to get worse moving forward. Milwaukee also did very little to upgrade its roster. The Bucks added Taurean Prince and Delon Wright in free agency, but those moves don’t move the needle. They also opted to draft a project with the 23rd pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, as they went with shooting guard AJ Johnson. A lot of people thought they’d go with win-now help, as they can use cheap rotation pieces. Milwaukee’s roster now looks somewhat mediocre. The Eastern Conference also happens to be more competitive at the top now. The Bucks could finish behind the Celtics, Knicks, 76ers, Cavaliers and Magic in the standings. And it wouldn’t be surprising if they have trouble holding off the Pacers. All in all, this doesn’t feel like a group that’s winning 52 games.

Bet: Under 51.5 (-120)

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers couldn’t keep their core four of Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen on the floor together last season. Mitchell missed 27 games, Garland missed 25 and Mobley missed 32. Allen was the only one that was a constant for Cleveland, but he ended up missing most of the postseason. One would think that the Cavaliers will be a little more fortunate in the health department next year. But either way, this total feels way too low for Cleveland. The Cavaliers won 51 games two seasons ago and followed it up with 48 wins in last year’s injury-riddled campaign. That said, Cleveland should be able to go Over this number without much changing. But the Cavaliers should be a little crisper on both ends this season, as Kenny Atkinson is coming over as the franchise’s new head coach. Atkinson did some great stuff in his time with the Nets, but he was ultimately shipped away because Brooklyn’s superstars wanted somebody else. Well, Atkinson is wanted in Cleveland and also spent the last few years in Golden State’s fantastic organization. He should only make this Cavaliers team better, so I’m not overthinking this. Cleveland might not be the sexiest team, but this is a group that can rack up wins in the East.

Bet: Over 47.5 (-110)

Phoenix Suns

It seems like the Suns are going to have trouble shaking the fact that they got swept in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. However, Phoenix was a 49-win team last season, and the Suns reached that number while dealing with some bad injury luck. It was also the first full year of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal playing with one another. Those three should be a lot more cohesive in their second season together. Phoenix also happened to upgrade its bench in bringing in proven rotation players like Monte Morris and Mason Plumlee. On top of that, the Suns hired one of the best regular season coaches in NBA history. Mike Budenholzer will be patrolling the sidelines this year, and there’s a lot he can do to make Phoenix a more dangerous team. That all starts with the fact that his teams generally take a healthy amount of 3s. The Suns didn’t fire nearly enough under Frank Vogel, but Budenholzer has already stated that there will be a change in offensive philosophy this year. If Phoenix does end up getting up more triples, the team won’t be at a significant math disadvantage every night. That will go a long way towards the Suns finding their groove. Honestly, not only should the Suns win 47 games this year, but they’re in play to win at least 50. So, keep an eye on the alternate markets here.

Bet: Over 46.5 (-115)
