Friday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Friday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.
Zion Williamson Over 23.5 Points (-115) vs. Pacers
Pelicans at Pacers – 7:00 pm ET
This is a really favorable matchup for Williamson. That was clear as he dropped 29 on the Pacers back on December 20, and it should be just as clear this evening. Indiana is No. 25 in the NBA when defending inside 10 feet, where Williamson scores 95% of his points. The Pacers also put opponents on the free throw line a lot, and Williamson could live at the stripe tonight. I also like Williamson to take advantage of an Indiana team that isn’t good at guarding in transition or isolation. The Pacers also struggle a bit defending pick-and-rolls and post-ups, and Williamson will get some opportunities to do both.
This Indiana team has also just struggled with athletic, non-shooting wings this year, and this game has a total of 240.5. There will be some guys that put up big numbers, and Williamson really should be one of them.
Brandon Ingram Over 33.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115) vs. Clippers
Clippers at Raptors – 7:30 pm ET
The Raptors are going to be without RJ Barrett tonight. That means there should be some more opportunities for some of the Toronto players, and Ingram always has a big role in this offense. However, while Ingram averages 31.7 combined points, rebounds, and assists on the year, he averages 33.1 PRA when Barrett is out. Also, in the two games that Ingram has played without Barrett and Immanuel Quickley, he averaged 42.0 PRA. That’s significant because Quickley is questionable tonight.
The Clippers are also a beatable defense this season, even if they have been a bit better lately. That said, I’m firing away on Ingram, who should really show up this evening. And if Quickley ends up sitting, this is going to end up looking like a very low number.
