Monday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Monday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.

Isaiah Collier Over 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-107) vs. Heat

Jazz at Heat – 7:30 pm ET

The Jazz will be playing without Keyonte George in what should be a fast-paced matchup with the Heat tonight. That should mean good things for Collier, who is averaging 34.8 combined points, rebounds, and assists when playing without George. He’s also averaging 43.5 PRA over the last two games.

Collier just has blazing speed with the ball in his hands, and that should help him against a Miami team that is in the NBA’s bottom 10 when it comes to guarding inside 10 feet, defending pick-and-roll ball handlers, and stopping players in transition. The Heat are also 28th when it comes to guarding in isolation, so fast, explosive guards can really give them some problems.

Collier simply should have some chances to score at the basket in this one, and he’s always in play to chip in a good 15 combined assists and rebounds. That said, he should have a big game tonight. He just needs to stay out of foul trouble.

Ryan Rollins Over 18.5 Points (-112) vs. Magic

Bucks at Magic – 7:30 pm ET

I usually like to play Rollins’ points and assists totals, but I’m only going with the points tonight. Rollins is averaging 23.8 points per game since the start of February, and his playmaking has taken a bit of a backseat with Kevin Porter Jr. back to run some offense. That said, let’s just worry about Rollins putting the ball in the hole, as he has gone Over in six of the last seven games he has played without Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Magic are a pretty good team defensively, but they’re bottom 10 in the NBA when it comes to guarding PnR handlers, and they’re also in that same range when it comes to guarding in transition, isolation, and handoff situations. On top of that, Orlando puts opponents on the line at a high clip.

I just think Rollins’ ability to drive could give the Magic some issues tonight. We just have to hope Milwaukee doesn’t get blown out. However, the team is coming off two full days of rest, so I’m hoping we see a solid performance and meaningful fourth-quarter minutes.
