Noteworthy OptaAI Player Prop Edges for Monday

Below you’ll find some of the projections that stood out when looking at our OptaAI NBA Player Prop projections. Subscribers have access to hundreds of others on a daily basis!

Jalen Duren Under 13.5 Rebounds (-128) vs. Wizards

Wizards at Pistons – 7:00 pm ET

Duren had 16 rebounds in a win over the 76ers last night. The big man is now averaging 11.8 boards per game on the season, and he has had at least 16 rebounds in two of the last three. Duren’s rebound total is now up at 13.5 for tonight’s meeting with the Wizards, but our OptaAI player prop projections have him finishing with 10.39. Perhaps the Under is worth a look, but bet against this monster at your own peril.

Collin Sexton Over 5.5 Assists (-110) vs. Lakers

Lakers at Hornets – 7:00 pm ET

LaMelo Ball is out for Charlotte tonight, so Sexton will be operating as the primary on-ball option. Sexton has had at least six assists three times this season, and the opportunities will be there again tonight. Our projections have him going for 6.39 against Los Angeles tonight, and Sexton did have 12 assists just a couple of games ago. On paper, this one makes a lot of sense.

Royce O’Neale Over 2.5 Made 3s (-124) vs. Pelicans

Pelicans at Suns – 9:00 pm ET

The OptaAI projections have O’Neale hitting 3.44 triples tonight. The 32-year-old has been an absolute marksman this season, shooting 43.4% from 3 on 8.3 attempts per game. He has also made at least three 3s in eight of the 10 games he has played. And with Jalen Green out a couple of weeks, O’Neale will continue to play close to 30 minutes.

Monday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Monday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.

Alex Sarr Over 20.5 Points + Assists (-114) vs. Pistons

Wizards at Pistons – 7:00 pm ET

Sarr has gone Over his combined points and assists prop in four consecutive games, and he has also done so in six of the last eight. This season, the second-year big man is averaging 22.9 points and assists per game. Sarr’s scoring (18.9 points per game) will need to do a bulk of the work in a play like this. Sarr’s averaging 22.7 points per game over the last three games, and we’ll need him to make some shots in order for this to hit. However, it’s hard not to like that he has had at least four assists in three of the last four games. He’s an underrated playmaker, and she should be able to spot out some cutters against a Pistons team that could have tired legs after a close win over the 76ers last night.

I’ll also note that Duren can still have trouble dealing with centers with ball skills. That said, Sarr should be able to get some things done when Duren is on him. And if Isaiah Stewart misses this game, this play goes from “like it” to “love it” on the Cold Stone scale.

Zaccharie Risacher Over 12.5 Points (-105) vs. Clippers

Hawks at Clippers – 10:30 pm ET

Risacher has been playing well offensively recently. The second-year wing has scored at least 13 points in four of the last five games. He has also scored at least 16 points in three straight. Well, Risacher really should be able to keep the good times rolling against the Clippers. Los Angeles is down at 26th in the NBA in defensive rating (119.0), and defending spot-up shooters and active off-ball wings has been a major problem for Ty Lue’s team. That should play right into Risacher’s hands.

Our projections also happen to have a small edge to the Over here, as OptaAI has Risacher going for 13.03 this evening. Let’s hope he clears it by a little more than that, as we don’t want to sweat this one too much. But all wins count the same, so we’ll take 13 if we have to.
