Thursday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Thursday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.

Jordan Walsh Over 7.5 Points (-118) vs. Bucks

Celtics at Bucks – 8:00 pm ET

Walsh comes into this game having scored at least nine points in four of the last five contests. The forward is shooting the 3-ball rather well right now, plus his athleticism makes him a threat to score at the rim — whether he’s driving, cutting, or making plays in transition. Well, Walsh should have a good shot at having another decent game tonight. The Bucks are a bottom-10 team when it comes to defending above-the-break 3s, which account for 27% of Walsh’s points. They’re also just 22nd in the league at defending around the rim, which is where Walsh scores 56% of his points. Realistically, the only thing I’m worried about here is Walsh staying out of foul trouble. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss this game for Milwaukee, so Walsh won’t have a very difficult defensive assignment. That means he won’t have to be overaggressive.

Derik Queen Over 27.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-114 – 1.5 units) vs. Trail Blazers

Blazers at Pelicans – 8:00 pm ET

Queen is coming off his best game as a pro, finishing with 33 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in a close loss against the Spurs. Tonight, there’s a decent chance we see the big man put up big numbers again. The Blazers will be playing without Donovan Clingan, who is a big-time rim protecting presence. They also have Yang Hansen and Robert Williams III listed as questionable. Portland is just in bad shape at the center position, so Queen shouldn’t face a ton of resistance when he drives to the basket. He should also make a big mark on the boards. When you add that to the fact that he’s usually good for four or five assists per night, this should be another performance Joe Dumars can use to defend his draft night deal.

Russell Westbrook Over 34.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-118) vs. Nuggets

Nuggets at Kings – 10:00 pm ET

The Kings will be playing without Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine tonight. They also have Dennis Schroder listed as doubtful. Fortunately, Sacramento has a player that feels he can make up for the production of several missing bodies.

Westbrook is actually coming off a game in which he had 50 combined points, rebounds, and assists against the Pacers. And he has gone Over his PRA total in two of the three games he has played against the Nuggets this season. It’s clear the veteran is getting up for these meetings with his former team, and there’s just no way he won’t have a sky-high usage rate in this one. Denver will also be missing two great defenders in Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon. That should make life on Westbrook a heck of a lot easier.

2025-26 NBA Record: 168-160 (+5.66 units)
