Noteworthy OptaAI Player Prop Edges for Thursday

Below you’ll find some of the projections that stood out when looking at our OptaAI NBA Player Prop projections. Subscribers have access to hundreds of others on a daily basis!

Paolo Banchero Under 38.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115) vs. Hornets

Magic at Hornets – 7:00 pm ET

Banchero is averaging only 35.0 combined points, rebounds, and assists this year, and our projections have him finishing with 33.51 tonight. That’s well below his total of 38.5 in his meeting with Charlotte. Banchero did put up 24 points, 11 boards, and seven assists against Detroit last night, so he’s coming into this one on the heels of a good performance. But these big margins have gone well for OptaAI lately, so this will be an interesting one to monitor.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 33.5 Points (-104) vs. Wizards

Wizards at Thunder – 8:00 pm ET

Our OptaAI player prop projections have Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 36.60 points against the Wizards tonight. They list him with an edge of 4.10 to the Over on a point total of 32.5, which is no longer available. However, even at 33.5, Gilgeous-Alexander’s projections would give him the biggest margin of any player tonight. Will the MVP torch Washington?

Jonathan Kuminga Over 5.5 Rebounds (-132) vs. Bucks

Warriors at Bucks – 8:00 pm ET

Our projections like Kuminga to finish with 7.13 rebounds in tonight’s meeting with Milwaukee. This season, the 23-year-old is averaging 7.4 rebounds per game, taking advantage of his bigger role with the team. Kuminga has also had at least eight rebounds in three of the last five games.

Thursday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Thursday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.

Ryan Rollins Over 11.5 Points (-108) vs. Warriors

Warriors at Bucks – 8:00 pm ET

Rollins is coming off a 25-point performance against the Knicks. The 23-year-old can’t be counted on to play that well every night, but he is averaging 15.3 points per game this season. He has also scored at least 13 points in three consecutive games. Rollins now has shooting splits of 47.6/35.0/100.0 for the year, and he’s thriving playing off Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Tonight, Rollins will again be going to work with Kevin Porter Jr. out of the lineup, meaning he’ll be counted on to generate some offense. Of course, the Warriors are an excellent defensive team, meaning he’ll have to work for everything. But Rollins should be able to knock down some jumpers, and he’s a threat to get to the basket as well — especially with a speed advantage over a bunch of Golden State’s perimeter players.

Khris Middleton Over 17.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110) vs. Thunder

Wizards at Thunder – 8:00 pm ET

Middleton is coming off a game in which he had 13 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists against the 76ers. The veteran has now played at least 29 minutes in three of his last four games, showing that his body is holding up quite nicely. The 34-year-old is also averaging 14.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game, and we only need him to have 18 combined points, rebounds, and assists tonight.

Middleton will be going against an elite Oklahoma City defense, so he’s going to have to deal with some physicality and athleticism. But I like him to put a good dent in this total with his ability to make tough shots, and he should also impact this game in the other parts of the box score.
