Tuesday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Tuesday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.
Ryan Rollins Over 27.5 Points + Assists (-118) vs. Bulls
Bulls at Bucks – 8:00 pm ET
Until Rollins’ totals get a lot higher, it’s hard not to play him to continue putting up points and assists. He’s the No. 1 option on this Milwaukee team when Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Porter Jr. aren’t out there, and both players remain out for the Bucks. With that in mind, I’m firing Rollins up to finish with at least 28 combined points and assists tonight. Rollins has hit this mark in two of the last three games, and he’s averaging 31.2 combined points and assists in the nine games he has played without Antetokounmpo and Porter.
The Bulls could also have a hard time containing Rollins tonight. Rollins is extremely explosive in beating his man off the dribble, and he scores 31% of his points at the rim. Well, Chicago is the worst team in the league defending at the basket, so Rollins should be able to finish when he gets two feet in the paint. I also expect Rollins to do some damage as a shooter, and he’s generally reliable to dish out at least five assists when running the show.
Dillon Brooks Over 22.5 Points (-102) vs. Trail Blazers
Suns at Blazers – 11:00 pm ET
Devin Booker is still dealing with an injured ankle, so he’ll be out for the Suns in tonight’s meeting with the Blazers. Well, Brooks is averaging 23.8 points per game without Booker this season, thriving as the top option when playing that role. Tonight, Brooks also happens to be facing a Portland team that welcomes the kinds of shots he likes to take. The Blazers are 27th in the NBA defending pull-up jumpers, so they generally do a good job of forcing opponents into bad shots. However, Brooks is scoring 46% of his points on pull-up jumpers, so he loves those bad shots.
