Noteworthy OptaAI Player Prop Edges for Tuesday

Below you’ll find some of the projections that stood out when looking at our OptaAI NBA Player Prop projections. Subscribers have access to hundreds of others on a daily basis!

Alexandre Sarr Over 8.5 Rebounds (+100) vs. Hawks

Hawks at Wizards – 7:00 pm ET

Sarr is averaging only 8.4 rebounds per game this year, but he has had at least 11 rebounds in three of the last four games. That said, he’s doing a much better job on the glass recently, and our Opta AI player prop projections like him to keep things rolling tonight. They have Sarr finishing with 9.33 rebounds against the Hawks tonight.

Tristan da Silva Over 1.5 Made 3s (-180) vs. 76ers

Magic at 76ers – 8:00 pm ET

You’ll have to deal with some significant juice in order to go Over on 3s for da Silva, but our OptaAI player prop projections have him finishing with 2.14 triples tonight. That’s a pretty significant edge to the Over, and this Sixers defense is pretty lousy. So, maybe this is something that’s worth throwing into parlays.

James Harden Over 23.5 Points (-122) vs. Lakers

Clippers at Lakers – 11:00 pm ET

OptaAI has Harden finishing with 26.50 points tonight, which shouldn’t be too surprising. This is a guy that scored at least 24 points in five straight games before scoring only 19 against the Cavaliers last game, but that was the second leg of a back-to-back. Harden also happened to score 55 points the day before, so he was understandably a bit tired. That said, it makes sense to expect another high scoring output here. However, Kawhi Leonard is back for the Clippers. He might throw a wrench into things, and he was back on Sunday. That might have had something to do with Harden going Under as well.

Tuesday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Tuesday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker Over 22.5 Points + Assists (-102) vs. Wizards

Hawks at Wizards – 7:00 pm ET

I’m having a hard time staying away from Alexander-Walker props. As long as Trae Young is out, Alexander-Walker is going to continue to play big minutes. He’s also going to have a massive role in this offense. That role has amounted to big performances lately. Alexander-Walker has had at least 27 combined points and assists in four of the last five games. And there’s really no reason he can’t do it again tonight. Washington is a bottom-10 team when it comes to defending the following categories: transition, spot-up shooting, and pick-and-roll ball handling. Well, Alexander-Walker can do some damage with all three of those.

This is also one in which the OptaAI player prop projections back me up. They have Alexander-Walker finishing with 25.66 points and assists tonight.

Kris Dunn Over 5.5 Points (-125) vs. Lakers

Clippers at Lakers – 11:00 pm ET

Dunn’s point total is up at 6.5 at most shops, but you can get a 5.5 at MGM. Well, I like Dunn to finish with at least six in this game, even if he’s not the smoothest scorer on the planet. Dunn has scored at least six points in four of the last five games he has played with Leonard, who will be in action for Los Angeles tonight. He has also scored at least six in eight of the 10 games Leonard has played this year. That trend makes sense because defenses have to pay close attention to Harden and Leonard, and leaving Dunn open is a no-brainer. He’s not the greatest 3-point shooter, and he’s not exactly a threat to create for himself. However, the Lakers are 28th in the NBA when it comes to defending spot-up shooters. He should be able to bury a triple or two, and there should also be a cut or a transition finish somewhere else.
