Philadelphia Eagles at Tennessee Titans – 1:00 pm ET
Last week, Barkley rushed for 83 yards on only 15 carries in a win over the Commanders. Now, the star faces a Titans team that allowed 142 yards on 32 carries against the Jets duo of Breece Hall and Braelon Allen. In that game, Tennessee’s Rush EPA/Play Allowed was -0.038, which was right around the -0.043 mark the team posted in 2025. All offseason long, we talked about Robert Saleh shaping up this defense, but there is a chance he won’t be successful in doing so. That said, this might just be a strong matchup for an elite rusher.
Barkley is averaging 96.9 rushing yards per game in his last 30 games, and he has rushed for at least 78 yards in five of his last six games. Also, since signing with the Eagles, Barkley is averaging 100.4 rushing yards per game when Philly is favored by between 5.5 and 8 points. I just don’t see any reason he can’t get going in this game, and I’ll throw out the fact that the game script could really favor him. If the Eagles go up early, they’ll begin to rely on the run.
Bet: Saquon Barkley Over 75.5 Rushing Yards (-135) & Alt Rushing Yards 100+ (+233 – 0.25 units)
Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears – 1:00 pm ET
I tweeted during last week’s game that I can’t understand how Wentz is the backup over JJ McCarthy, but that’s neither here nor there. Wentz went on to do just fine in a win over the Packers, and I don’t see the Vikings being shy about throwing the ball here. With the Bears having put 59 points on the Panthers, there’s just no way of standing a chance against them without making plays in the passing game. And if Bryce Young can go for 361 passing yards against this defense, you’d think Wentz can reach 225 with all of the weapons he has at his disposal. Also, the absence of Jordan Mason only makes it more likely that Kevin O’Connell will let Wentz cook — even if he’s doing it with a microwave.
Wentz only threw for 133 yards in relief of an injured Kyler Murray lat week, but he also threw for at least 236 yards in three of his final four appearances in 2025. Two of those three games featured him throwing for over 300 yards.
I’m not sure the result of this game will be pretty for Minnesota, but I see Wentz putting up a pretty decent yardage total. I actually really wanted to get more aggressive with this, but the pricing wasn’t great.
Bet: Carson Wentz Over 224.5 Passing Yards (+127)
Jacksonville Jaguars at Denver Broncos – 4:05 pm ET
Is this a massive overreaction from Week 1? While the Jaguars absolutely pounded the Browns, the Broncos looked lousy in a 31-10 loss against the Chiefs. However, looking back to a year ago, Denver was a better football team than Jacksonville. Also, the Broncos had a better offseason than the Jaguars. So, while things did look ugly offensively last week, I’m chalking it up to a weird game. I don’t think anyone should be sounding the alarms on Davis Webb running the offense, and I feel good about Denver bouncing back at home.
Under Sean Payton, the Broncos are 4-1 both straight-up and against the spread in home games with totals of 45.5 or higher. Denver also happens to be 6-1 both SU and ATS after scoring 14 or fewer points in its previous game. Those trends support a much better performance from the Broncos — and especially the Denver offense — in Week 2.
It’s also pretty easy to envision the Broncos corners enjoying a matchup with an average group of receivers. Denver can also put some pressure on Trevor Lawrence, and I trust the defense to do well against a shaky Jacksonville backfield.
On top of all of that, the Broncos look rather sharp here. While most of the action on our VSiN betting splits pages shows public faith in Jacksonville, the line hasn’t budged.
Bet: Broncos -2.5 (-115)
