How far can Tom Brady carry the Buccaneers in the playoffs?
There are a lot of different betting markets when it comes to the NFL playoffs. Most bettors are fixated on the games themselves and the spread, total and player props that come along with those, but there are some good futures betting opportunities out there for those willing to think creatively about the postseason.
VSiN Final Countdown hosts Stormy Buonantony and Matt Brown looked at the odds for Most Passing Yards, Most Receiving Yards and Most Rushing Yards in the 2022 NFL playoffs and shared their thoughts.

Most passing yards in the NFL playoffs
These bets really force you to think because you not only have to pick a team that will go on a deep run, but also latch onto a quarterback that throws a lot.
Here are the odds from DraftKings at the time of the segment:
- Josh Allen +225
- Patrick Mahomes +300
- Joe Burrow +400
- Jalen Hurts +600
- Justin Herbert +800
- Brock Purdy +1000
- Tom Brady +1200
- Kirk Cousins +1400
- Dak Prescott +1400
- Trevor Lawrence +3000
- Geno Smith +4000
- Lamar Jackson +5000
- Daniel Jones +5000
- Teddy Bridgewater +7000
- Tyler Huntley +8000
- Skylar Thompson +10000
If Allen and the Bills make it to the Super Bowl, they will have played four playoff games, which is why he’s the favorite over Mahomes and why Hurts is the fourth choice on the board. The same can be said of Burrow at +400.
However, Matt is looking at a long shot and you should watch the clip to hear the compelling case that he made.
Most receiving yards in the NFL playoffs
This is a more wide-open category than passing yards, as evidenced by a +600 favorite, but there are some considerations further down the board here as well.
Here are the odds from DraftKings at the time of the segment:
- Stefon Diggs +600
- Ja’Marr Chase +1000
- Travis Kelce +1000
- A.J. Brown +1200
- Gabe Davis +1500
- Deebo Samuel +1500
- George Kittle +1500
- Justin Jefferson +1600
- Brandon Aiyuk +1800
- JuJu Smith-Schuster +2000
- Tee Higgins +2000
- DeVonta Smith +2000
- CeeDee Lamb +2000
- Kadarius Toney +2200
- Mike Evans +2500
- Keenan Allen +2800
- Dallas Goedert +2800
- All others +3500 or higher
Most rushing yards in the NFL playoffs
As Stormy collected pointed out, this market is fascinating because a quarterback has the second-lowest odds! Matt followed up by noting that most of the top Super Bowl contenders simply don’t have great running games. Can we interest you in a Josh Allen bet?
Here are the odds from DraftKings at the time of the segment:
- Christian McCaffrey +500
- Josh Allen +700
- Miles Sanders +800
- Joe Mixon +1000
- Jalen Hurts +1000
- Isiah Pacheco +1200
- Devin Singletary +1200
- Tony Pollard +1400
- Ezekiel Elliott +1600
- Dalvin Cook +1600
- Austin Ekeler +1600
- Elijah Mitchell +1600
