Due to a potentially historic snow storm, the Buffalo Bills were forced to practice via Zoom Friday.  Not all players were able to attend because some are without electricity.

Late Thursday, the NFL announced that Buffalo’s scheduled home game Sunday against the Cleveland Browns was being moved to Ford Field in Detroit, an indoor dome.

Can the Bills Get To Detroit in Time?

Now, the question is, since the Bills didn’t get out of Buffalo before the snow began, will they be able to get out in time for Sunday’s game?

By midday Friday, 4 feet of snow had already accumulated in Orchard Park, where the Bills play their home games. And, the National Weather Service expects the snow to continue through midday Saturday at rates as high as 3 inches per hour.  After tapering off for a few hours Saturday afternoon, the forecast calls for more snow in the Buffalo area Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott told reporters that he hopes the team can stay on its normal travel schedule, which would mean flying out of Buffalo Saturday afternoon.  Based on the current forecast, that plan seems iffy at best.
