Here are today’s NHL predictions and best bets.
Seattle Kraken (13-14-6) at Anaheim Ducks (21-13-2)

The Kraken have won eight of the last 10, but Anaheim has won two of the last three meetings versus Seattle. The Kraken put a halt to their four-game skid with a 4-2 win at San Jose on Saturday as Chandler Stephenson found the back of the net for the fourth consecutive game and now has points in eight straight. His linemate, Eeli Tolvanen, has points in six of his last nine games. Stephenson has also cashed his shots on goal prop (Over 1.5) in four of his last five games and eight of his last 10. Seattle struggles on the road in the opening 20 minutes, leading just once in 16 games (1-7-8).
Two other Kraken players on my radar: Matty Beniers and Shane Wright. Beniers has three goals in seven games against Ducks goalie Lukas Dostal, and Shane Wright has four goals in four games against Dostal. Interestingly, in the other three games Wright has faced the Ducks, he has not scored.
Anaheim is coming off a 4-3 win over Columbus on Saturday, one night after being thumped by Dallas, 8-3. In the Ducks’ 21 wins this season, they have scored four or more goals 19 times. Seattle has given up four goals or more in seven of their last eight losses and 14 of their 20 losses this season.
Anaheim’s Mikael Granlund has points in three straight and seven of his last eight meetings with Seattle and has goals in three straight. For his career, Granlund has 13 points in ten games against the Kraken. Granlund’s linemate, Frank Vatrano, has scored three goals in five games versus Seattle’s expected starting goalie, Joey Daccord. The Ducks’ Troy Terry has seven goals and 15 points in 14 games against Seattle.
