The final ATP Masters 1000 event of the 2026 tennis season is here, as the top players in the world are competing at the Paris La Defense Arena for the Rolex Paris Masters. With that in mind, I’ll be handicapping all of the action over the next week or so. That continues with my Day 2 tennis predictions and best bets for Tuesday, November 23. Keep reading for some of my favorite selections for this loaded slate, but don’t stop there. Gill Alexander will be posting his best bets on the VSiN picks page daily, and I’ll also be adding some additional plays there.
Stefanos Tsitsipas vs. Learner Tien
Tsitsipas has the right skill set for playing indoors, as he boasts a massive serve and a lethal forehand. Those two weapons can get you pretty far in these conditions. I do, however, feel that Tien is a brutal matchup for him. Tien is an absolute backboard along the baseline, meaning he should be able to keep himself from getting blasted off the court. Well, the longer some of the rallies in this match go, the more opportunities there will be for Tien to break down the Tsitsipas backhand.
Tien already has a win over Tsitsipas this year, as he beat the Greek star in a tight 7-6 (4), 7-6 (2) match in Geneva right before the French Open. However, those conditions strongly favored Tsitsipas. These ones will make it tougher on Tsitsipas to get into Tien’s serve, and the American is a tough out when tournament conditions make him more dangerous on offense.
Bet: Tien ML (-133)
Valentin Vacherot vs. Novak Djokovic
Fresh off a title run in Basel, it’s a little surprising to me that we’re getting Vacherot at these prices. I understand he’s facing the best player in the history of the sport, but Djokovic just lost to Jan-Lennard Struff in the Round of 16 in Basel. Djokovic is not even close to playing his best tennis, and there’s reporting out there that he’s currently dealing with some pretty serious back pain.
If Djokovic isn’t 100% here, it’s highly likely he’ll lose at least one set in this match. Vacherot is a big server, a solid baseliner, and someone who levels up when facing top-tier competition. Last week, Vacherot’s road to lifting a trophy included wins over Rafael Jodar, Holger Rune, Taylor Fritz, and Jiri Lehecka. He’s currently performing like a top-10 player, yet he’s not being priced like one.
Bet: Vacherot +1.5 Sets (-156 – 1.5 units) & Vacherot ML (+190 – 0.5 units)
Casper Ruud vs. Rafael Jodar
I had Ruud to win a set against Jodar in Shanghai, noting that the quick conditions there could bring out the high-quality server the Norwegian usually is indoors. Well, Ruud did win a set in that match, and now we’re actually indoors. That said, I’m going right back to the 27-year-old to win a set, and I’m also sprinkling the moneyline.
I mentioned in the Tsitsipas-Tien write-up that big serves and forehands matter on this surface, and I feel pretty strongly that Ruud has Jodar beat in both categories. Well, if Ruud can just be a little steadier in longer exchanges this match, there’s a real chance he gets his win back here.
I’ll also mention that Ruud has been around much longer than Jodar. That should help as he looks to make some adjustments from last match to this match.
Bet: Ruud +1.5 Sets (-156 – 1.5 units) & Ruud ML (+180 – 0.5 units)
Added Plays
I usually have A LOT MORE on the Pro Picks page. These plays count towards my record and have been a big part of my success this season. Make sure you check them out. I’ll probably add a few more over there, so refresh that page throughout the day if you’re looking for action. That’s also where I put my Challenger-level plays, as well as picks for lower level ATP and WTA events.
