Steve Makinen is known for his betting systems and this is one of my favorites: The College Football Stability System.
Steve knows I love it so much that he even mentions me in the lead of his story on the Week 1 qualified matches.
In short, Steve assigns a score to every team based on the amount of change to its coaching staff, quarterback and starters. When a highly stable team plays a highly unstable team early in the season, that makes for a betting opportunity.
The system is off to a 1-0 start as Kansas, with a 15-point stability advantage, beat Fresno State 31-7 to cover the closing -14.5 in Week 0.
