You gotta Lett it go

The ghost of Leon Lett haunted the Cowboys on MNF as a Dallas special teams blunder gave the Bengals a second chance with the score tied late in the game. Cincinnati took advantage of the mistake and scored with a minute left to win 27-20 and cover the closing -4.5.

I would still argue that Lett’s attempt to recover a blocked field goal on Thanksgiving Day 1993 was worse than Amani Oruwariye’s muffed attempt to field a blocked punt, but watch for yourself.

Three sweaty Circa Survivor entries on the Bengals advanced to Week 15, meaning 51 entries are still alive.

Turning the page: Adam Burke looks at the early Week 15 line moves based on Week 14 results and injuries.

Speaking of injuries: Raiders QB Aidan O’Connell (bone bruise in knee) may be available Monday vs. the Falcons. . . . Saints QB Derek Carr (fracture in left hand) will miss several weeks. . . . 49ers RB Isaac Guerendo (foot sprain) hasn’t been ruled out for Thursday vs. the Rams.
