Can Packers stop Vikings?

Today’s marquee matchup didn’t draw exactly marquee attention from VSiN’s crew of Best Bet columnists.

Only VSiN.com senior editor Zach Cohen stepped to the plate on the Packers-Vikings matchup (4:25 p.m. ET):

Minnesota has won eight games in a row. The Vikings are the hottest team in football right now, and Sam Darnold has been playing out of his mind lately. Darnold started the season well, but he cooled off a bit. Naturally, many thought he was coming back down to earth. But Darnold has thrown for 15 touchdowns and just one interception over the last six games. He has also had a Passer Rating of at least 107.0 in five of his last six games. Minnesota is now very much alive in the NFC North race, as the team is 13-2 and tied with Detroit. But the Vikings really need to win out, and this meeting with the Packers (11-4) will be challenging. But given the way Darnold is playing, I don’t see any reason Minnesota can’t win this at home.

The Colts are the top pick in Circa Survivor with 16 selections out of the remaining 34 entries. Ten picks are already throught to Week 18 with 8 on the Rams and 1 on the Chargers. Other picks: 4 apiece on the Bills and Bucs and 1 on the Eagles.

In the Circa Million, the top picks were Lions -4 (2,084), Commanders -4 (1,735), Bengals -3 (1,600), Cowboys +9.5 (1,566 and Chargers -4 (1,404), so that’s two winners already with the Bengals and Chargers.
