Cracker Barrel 400
It was a sad and somber weekend in Charlotte following the tragic and untimely passing of Kyle Busch. The rest of the season will be dedicated to him and he will have tributes at tracks around the country, as the NASCAR Cup Series moves to the Nashville area for the Cracker Barrel 400. Nashville Superspeedway was added to the schedule in 2021 and will host its fifth race this weekend.
This is the 14th race of 36 for the Cup Series season, which includes three road course races as mentioned, a street course in Coronado, a revamped playoff format, the second annual In-Season Challenge, and a whole lot of exciting Saturdays and Sundays for race fans and bettors.

2026 NASCAR Cup Series Winners and Standings
Daniel Suarez was the emotional winner of the Coca-Cola 600, as he picked up his first win of the season and just his third as a Cup Series driver. There are eight total winners now across the 13 races, with Suarez adding his name to the mix.
Road course ringer Shane van Gisbergen did his thing at Watkins Glen, so we’ve had two new race winners in consecutive weeks for the first time since Races 4 and 5 when Tyler Reddick won each of the first three races and then Ryan Blaney and Denny Hamlin won the next two. Ty Gibbs, Chase Elliott, Carson Hocevar, and SvG are the other race winners alongside Suarez.
Wins no longer guarantee entry into the playoffs, so the top 16 in points will make up who is in contention for the Cup Series Chase, which begins on September 6. Reddick is still far and away the points leader with his five wins and 620 points. Hamlin will be the next one to cross 500 points, as he sits with 498 going into this weekend. Blaney is third, sitting nearly 200 points behind Reddick, with Gibbs and Elliott making up the rest of the top five.
Spots 6 through 10 start with three non-race winners in Kyle Larson, Chris Buescher, and Christopher Bell, and then Hocevar and Suarez.
Cracker Barrel 400 Winners
This could be the week for Larson, who has a win, three top-five finishes, and five top-10 finishes in five starts at Nashville Superspeedway. It could also be a promising week for Joey Logano, who has a win, two top-five finishes, and four top-10 finishes in his five starts on the track.
Ross Chastain, Elliott, and Blaney are the other three winners at this track dating back to 2021.
