Oakland vs. Cleveland State

7:00 PM Eastern

Oakland continues to have difficulties on offense, ranking 332nd in points scored on a per possession basis entering Wednesday and face a Cleveland State team whose defense is superior, ranking 140th in points per possession allowed, while Oakland is 258th in this category. Additionally, Oakland is 308th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage.

UT Martin vs Morehead State

7:30 PM Eastern

The Morehead State defense and overall rebounding gets a boost with 7-foot Dionte Miles returning in the team’s previous games after missing the previous three games, and both teams have had limited success with their outside shooting as UT Martin entered Wednesday 360th in 3-point shooting percentage overall and Morehead State is 305th in the nation in points per possession and shooting 15.3% from 3-point range at home.

Pick: UT Martin vs Morehead State Under 146.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 138.5)

Tennessee Tech vs. Lindenwood

8:30 PM Eastern

Both teams are relatively equal on defense as Lindenwood entered Wednesday 304th in points allowed per possession and Tennessee Tech 306th, but Tennessee Tech ranks 105th in 3-point shooting percentage at 35.1%, while Lindenwood is 326th in points per possession on offense

Pick: Tennessee Tech Moneyline (Greg’s Handicap Tennessee Tech -4.5)

Lipscomb vs. Middle Tennessee

7:30 PM Eastern

Lipscomb has been a different team on the road at protecting the ball than at home, ranking seventh in turnovers per possession at home entering Wednesday and 262nd on the road, while Middle Tennessee has had one of the best perimeter defenses in the country, ranking 15th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage.

Pick: Middle Tennessee -1.5 (Greg’s Handicap Middle Tennessee -5.5)

Eastern Illinois vs. SE Missouri State

8:30 PM Eastern

Eastern Illinois has done a nice job at generating turnovers, entering Wednesday ranked 72nd in turnovers forced on a per possession basis in road games, while SE Missouri State has been one of the worst teams in the country at pounding the glass, ranking 335th in rebound percentage. 

Pick: Eastern Illinois +5.5 (Greg’s Handicap Eastern Illinois -2)

Tennessee State vs. Southern Indiana

8:30 PM Eastern

Tennessee State has had a difficult time guarding the 3-point arc, ranking 304th overall in opponents 3-point shooting percentage and 39.2% in games played away from home, while Southern Indiana is seventh in the country with their 41.8% 3-point shooting and should get plenty of trips to the free throw line with Tennessee State 295th in the country in fouls per possession committed.

Pick: Southern Indiana -3 (Greg’s Handicap Southern Indiana -7.5)

Merrimack vs. St. Mary’s

10:00 PM Eastern

St. Mary’s has not been quite as dominant on defense as in past seasons, ranking 195th in points allowed per possession at home entering Wednesday, while Merrimack plays a difficult zone defense to prepare for and is 71st in the nation’s top in turnovers forced per possession.

Pick: Merrimack +21.5 (Greg’s Handicap Merrimack +18.5)
