Wagner vs. Seton Hall

12:00 PM ET

While both offenses entered Friday 322nd or lower in points scored on a per possession basis, Wagner’s first two games against Division I teams have been against St. John’s and Rutgers, which makes their offense look worse than what it truly is. The first three games for Seton Hall came against lower-tempo teams in Hofstra, Fordham, and St. Peter’s, which has them playing at a rate of six possessions per game fewer than a season ago, a tempo that should climb northwards as their schedule normalizes.

Wagner vs Seton Hall Over 120 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 128.5)

Notre Dame vs. Georgetown

1:00 PM ET

While both teams are 2-0 straight up, Georgetown was unable to cover either game against Lehigh or Fairfield and committed a turnover on 22.1% of their offensive possessions, which ranked 314th in the country entering Friday. Though Notre Dame has only played Buffalo and Stonehill to this point, they return all four of last season’s top four scorers and entered Friday 48th this season in points scored on a per possession basis.

Notre Dame -2.5 (Greg’s Handicap Notre Dame -6.5)

Idaho vs. BYU

3:00 PM ET

While BYU opened the season scoring 86 points or more in each of their first three games, their two wins of more than eight points came against a Queens (NC) team that played against Utah the night before, so they were on zero days of rest, and a Central Arkansas team that currently has some of the worst metrics of any team outside of Mississippi Valley State in the country. BYU also has to clean up their 55.6% free throw shooting, which ranked 345th entering Friday in games played against Division I opponents.

Idaho +28 (Greg’s Handicap Idaho +20)

Alabama A&M vs. Tennessee State

8:00 PM ET

The biggest weakness for Tennessee State at the moment is their perimeter defense, allowing Division I opponents to shoot 40.9% from 3-point range to open the season, but face an Alabama A&M team that ranked 351st in 3-point shooting percentage at 28.7% last season and 361st in percentage of points from made 3-point shots at 18.4%. While Alabama A&M is 3-0 with scoring over 100 points in all three games this season, this will be their first game against a Division I opponent.

Tennessee State -6 (Greg’s Handicap Tennessee State -11)

Utah Tech vs. Wyoming

9:00 PM ET

Utah Tech is shooting 32.5% from the field against Division I teams, which entered Friday 349th in the country, and now has to play at elevation against a Wyoming unit that has been one of the best in the country at getting second-chance scoring opportunities. This season, they’ve had an offensive rebound on 34.8% of their missed shots in games against Division I opponents.

Wyoming -10 (Greg’s Handicap Wyoming -16)
