Tennessee vs. Louisville 

12:00 PM ET

Louisville had an impressive win to begin the Pat Kelsey era over Morehead State, but much like Louisville, Morehead State was breaking in a new coach with a roster filled with transfers. Now Louisville gets a test from a Tennessee team that has been in the top 11 in the country in points allowed on a per possession basis and are led by a veteran point guard in Zakai Ziegler.

Tennessee -1.5 (Greg’s handicap Tennessee -6.5)

Morgan State vs. Longwood 

3:00 PM ET

Morgan State lost to Mercyhurst earlier this week, who had never won a game as a Division I program up until that point, and now need to face a Longwood team that dominates on the glass, ranking 13th in the country in overall rebound percentage last season. Morgan State allowed Mercyhurst to haul in 15 offensive rebounds in their 78-73 loss.

Longwood -11.5 (Greg’s handicap Longwood -17.5)

Fairfield vs. Georgetown

4:00 PM ET

Georgetown struggled and failed to cover in their season opener against Lehigh with a defense that was 349th in points allowed per possession last season. They may not be able to take advantage of a Fairfield unit who’s biggest weak point is down low, as Georgetown ranked 321st in 2-point shooting percentage on offense last season.

Memphis vs. UNLV 

6:00 PM ET

Memphis got the win over Missouri to start the year, but there is still dysfunction with the Tigers. Much of the assistant coaching staff was fired less than 60 days before the beginning of the season and now they have to travel through multiple time zones for their first road test of the season against UNLV. The Rebels return a core that went 17-8 in their final 25 games last season and have former Oklahoma starting forward Jalen Hill back after injuries limited him to just seven games last season.

UNLV +2 (Greg’s handicap UNLV -3)

Auburn vs. Houston 

9:30 PM ET

Houston gave up the fewest points per possession of any team in the country last season and has been in the top six in this category in each of the past four seasons along with finishing in the top 14 in rebound percentage in seven of the past eight seasons. Auburn was one of just two teams that had two players ranked among qualifying Division I teams in blocked shots and were 10th in points allowed per possession last season, and the neutral court aspect should slow down these offenses even further.

Auburn vs. Houston Under 144 (Greg’s handicapped total 134.5)
