Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Keep reading for the top MLB player prop picks for June 23. Also, make sure you check out our live VSiN programming for more. Tuesday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Tuesday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. I’ll write three up per day, but I’ll add additional ones in an “Additional Best Bets” section. I go lighter on baseball than I do other sports. My MLB units are 50% of what my normal units are.
Sandy Alcantara Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-155 – 1.5 units) & Alt Strikeouts 6+ (+136 – 0.5 units) vs. Rangers
Rangers at Marlins – 6:40 pm ET
Alcantara comes into this start having racked up at least five strikeouts in four consecutive starts. He has now had at least five Ks in nine of his 16 outings this year. I was also watching Alcantara’s last start, as I had him to go Over his strikeout total against the Phillies. He started a little slow in that one, but he looked unhittable in his final few innings. Well, let’s hope he brings some of that momentum into this meeting with the Rangers. Texas has a strikeout rate of 22.6% this season, making this a very attackable matchup. Also, Alcantara has been great at home this year, so I like that this game will be played in South Beach.
Cal Raleigh Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125) & Raleigh To Homer (+280 – 0.25 units) vs. Pirates
Mariners at Pirates – 6:40 pm ET
Raleigh has been an absolute nightmare this year. After batting .247 with 60 homers and 125 RBIs in 2025, Raleigh is batting .162 with seven homers and 20 RBIs this season. At some point, Raleigh is really going to need to start heating up, and I’m not sure a hot streak starts today. However, I do like him to do some damage against Mitch Keller. In three career at-bats against Keller, Raleigh has two doubles. Seeing Keller on the mound could give him some confidence, and the Pirates righty is worse than he has been in quite some time. His 4.92 ERA is the worst mark he has posted since 2021.
Pete Crow-Armstrong Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125) vs. Mets
Cubs at Mets – 7:10 pm ET
I tried to take this play yesterday, but the game was postponed and I’m going back to it here. Crow-Armstrong has been posting some insane numbers lately. He has gone Over 1.5 combined hits, runs, and RBIs (HRR) in 17 of his last 22 games, averaging 3.4 HRR per game in that span. He’s also batting .415 since this recent stretch started. Well, Kodai Senga will be on the mound for the Mets tonight, bringing a 9.00 ERA into the game. He’s not pitching very well this season, plus he’s a right-handed pitcher. Crow-Armstrong does his best work against righties.
