Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Keep reading for the top MLB player prop picks for September 7. Also, make sure you check out our live VSiN programming for more. Our hosts and analysts will be all over the MLB, which is why it pays to be a VSiN Pro subscriber.

Monday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Monday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. I’ll write three up per day, but I’ll add additional ones in an “Additional Best Bets” section. I go lighter on baseball than I do other sports. My MLB units are 50% of what my normal units are.

Seiya Suzuki Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-108) vs. Brewers

Cubs at Brewers – 2:10 pm ET

Suzuki has been outrageous against lefties this year, batting .295 with a slugging percentage of .555. He’s also averaging 2.7 HRR per game against southpaws, and I like him to produce tonight. Robert Gasser has been mediocre this year, and Suzuki is 2 for 6 against the lefty in his career.

Joe Ryan Over 3.5 Strikeouts (-107) vs. Tigers

Twins at Tigers – 3:10 pm ET

Ryan has been out for a month with a glute strain, so I’m not expecting him to look 100% — or even work deep in this game. However, his strikeout total is down at 3.5, and I think he can get to four. He had seven strikeouts in his lone start against the Tigers, who have a strikeout rate of 22.8% against righties.

Chase Burns Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-110) vs. Dodgers

Reds at Dodgers – 9:10 pm ET

Burns has a strikeout total of 4.5 this evening, which probably has to do with a combination of the opponent and a potential late-season innings limit. However, Burns is averaging 6.6 strikeouts per game this season, and I’m not going to shy away from the righty because he’s facing the Dodgers. I have cashed on other pitchers against this daunting lineup.

Additional Picks

Ronald Acuna Jr. Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+101) vs. Phillies

Eury Perez Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-112) vs. Mets
