Here are our favorite MLB prop bets for Wednesday, May 10th:

Washington Nationals at San Francisco Giants (-155, 8.5)

Josiah Gray’s strikeout total is down at 5.5 tonight, but that number feels way too low. The 25-year-old has had at least six strikeouts in each of his last three games, and he had nine strikeouts in one of those three contests. Now, Gray gets to face a Giants team that tends to strike out rather often.

This season, San Francisco has the highest strikeout rate of any team in baseball. Of course, most of that damage has come against left-handed pitching. But this isn’t a team that generally makes a lot of contact, and Gray knows how to go out and miss bats. With that said, he should be able to rack up six strikeouts tonight, even if he doesn’t pitch his best.

Bet: Gray Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-115)

Toronto Blue Jays at Philadelphia Phillies (-115, 8)

Kevin Gausman got shelled for eight runs on 10 hits in only 3.1 innings in his last trip to the mound. However, that wasn’t the first time that has happened this season. Gausman gave up seven earned runs on seven hits in 4.2 innings of work against the Houston Astros on April 17th. And the righty responded by going out and pitching 7.0 shutout innings and striking out 11 batters in his first start after that. So, Gausman doesn’t generally let his struggles fester. He’s going to go out and try and blank the Phillies.

The reality is that Gausman has allowed fewer than 2.5 earned runs in four of his seven starts this season. And while the Phillies are definitely a difficult opponent, it’s hard to see him not going out and dominating. Gausman is one of the best pitchers in the league and we trust him to turn things around.

Bet: Gausman Under 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-120)

New York Mets (-150, 9) at Cincinnati Reds

Francisco Lindor hasn’t been perfect this season, but he has had at least two total bases in two of his last three games. Lindor also happens to be coming off a game in which he was 2 for 5 with a single and a homer, while also driving in two homers. So, with his confidence being high right now, we like his chances of coming through at the plate against Hunter Greene.

Greene has some of the most electric stuff in baseball, but he does occasionally get himself into trouble and find himself in jams. In fact, Greene is coming off a start in which he gave up five earned runs on seven hits in only 5.2 innings of work. With that in mind, somebody on this Mets team will get to him at some point. And why not take it to be Lindor, who can cash in at +130 odds to reach two total bases?

Bet: Lindor Over 1.5 Total Bases (+130)
