Miami Marlins at New York Mets

4:10 pm ET

Braxton Garrett will be making his second start of the 2024 season on Saturday against the New York Mets.

The left-hander’s first outing did not go well versus the Phillies, with Garrett conceding five runs over 5.1 innings. However, the 26-year-old did manage to grab eight strikeouts, which is exactly what we are targeting today.

The Mets have posted a 23.6% K rate, 14.7% SwStr rate and a 34.1% Chase rate in the last 14 days against southpaws. This makes a modest line of 4.5 strikeouts a solid prop bet to lock in.

MLB Best Bet: Braxton Garrett o4.5 K (-120)

Washington Nationals at Philadelphia Phillies

6:05 pm ET

Christopher Sanchez was once an automatic bet for Under 1.5 walks, but that is most definitely no longer the case.

The Phillies southpaw has allowed 10 walks over his last four outings and carries a 9.7% walk rate, which is more than double his rate from 2023.

On Saturday he will take on the Nationals, who sport a 10% walk rate versus left-handed pitching in the last 14 days. At plus-money, this is certainly worth the investment

MLB Best Bet: Christopher Sanchez o1.5 BB (+105)

Washington Nationals at Philadelphia Phillies

6:05 pm ET

MacKenzie Gore is off to a strong start this season, boasting a 3.38 ERA. That said, he has allowed at least five hits per game in all but one start (7 of 8).

This makes a line of 4.5 hits stand out against the Phillies. Philadelphia is batting .267 with a 42.9% hard hit rate and .336 wOBA over the last two weeks.

The result may be close, but all signs point to this being a successful Over on Saturday.

MLB Best Bet: MacKenzie Gore o4.5 Hits (-130)
