Greg’s Handicap: Tigers -154 and Total 8.3
Washington Nationals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
The Nationals bats have been off to a hot start to the season, ranking second in the league with 5.9 runs per game entering Tuesday, but may be due for regression after ranking 20th in scoring last season with just over 4.2 runs per game and the same goes for a Pirates lineup that was seventh in scoring entering Tuesday with over 5.1 runs per game after ranking last in scoring with 3.6 runs per game, while Pirates starting pitcher Carmen Mlodzinski has a 2.51 ERA through his first three starts this season with 9.4 strikeouts per nine innings without allowing a home run.
