Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Sunday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Sunday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m going to keep these much shorter to cut down on my workload a little.

Brady Singer Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-108) vs. Twins

Reds at Twins – 2:10 pm ET

Singer only has four strikeouts over the last two contests, but he had five strikeouts in back-to-back starts before that. Well, I’m expecting the righty to show up and rack up strikeouts this afternoon, as the Twins are tied for the highest strikeout rate (26.1%) in baseball against right-handed pitching.

Roki Sasaki Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-116) vs. Rockies

Dodgers at Rockies – 3:10 pm ET

I normally like to go with hitting props in Coors Field, but I’m taking a chance with Sasaki to record at least five strikeouts. He’s coming off back-to-back starts with at least five Ks, and Colorado currently has the highest strikeout rate (27.1%) in baseball. So, there’s a chance he lets up some runs here, but I also expect him to miss bats.

Reid Detmers Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+106) vs. Padres

Padres at Angels – 4:05 pm ET

Detmers is averaging 6.5 strikeouts per game this season, and he has had two starts with nine Ks. Well, Detmers now gets to face a Padres team that does have some high-whiff players — especially when going up against left-handed pitchers. That said, at plus-money odds, I’ll take my shot at Detmers having six Ks.
