Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Keep reading for the top MLB player prop picks for April 15. Also, make sure you check out our live VSiN programming for more. Wednesday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Wednesday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. I’ll write three up per day but I’ll add additional ones in an “Additional Best Bets” section. That’s also where you’ll find any late adds to my card.

Cody Bellinger Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120) vs. Angels

Angels at Yankees – 7:05 pm ET

Jack Kochanowicz is 2-0 with a 3.24 ERA this season, but he’s coming off a year in which he went 3-11 with a 6.81 ERA. Kochanowicz could very well be a much better pitcher than he was a year ago, but I’d imagine the truth of where he stands is probably in between the last two years. That said, I don’t think this matchup is as intimidating as it might look when viewing traditional stats, and I do think Kochanowicz will continue to struggle with lefty sluggers. Well, let’s see what Bellinger can do tonight. Last year, Bellinger was a monster when playing at Yankee Stadium, hitting .302 with three triples, 12 doubles, 18 homers, and 55 RBIs. This is also a player that has always done more damage against right-handed pitching. I can see him taking advantage of a strong matchup this evening.

Chris Paddack Over 3.5 Strikeouts (+113) vs. Braves

Marlins at Braves – 7:15 pm ET

It wasn’t too long ago that Paddack was being viewed as one of the more intriguing young pitchers in the game, but things haven’t quite gone as planned. Still, this is a pitcher that is plenty good enough to rack up at least four strikeouts, which is something he has done in each of his three starts this year. Atlanta does have one of the lowest strikeout rates (19.6%) in the league this year, so you won’t catch me arguing that this is a good matchup for the righty. However, the Braves had a much higher K rate (22.2%) in 2025, so there’s a good chance that number increases in the coming days. And Paddack did have a six-strikeout performance against the Braves in Atlanta last April, so this isn’t something he hasn’t already proven he can do.

Dylan Cease Over 16.5 Outs Recorded (-124) vs. Brewers

Blue Jays at Brewers – 7:40 pm ET

Cease has been awesome to start the year, as he has a 2.45 ERA in three starts and has 26 strikeouts in 14.2 innings of work. Well, in tonight’s meeting with the Brewers, I’m banking on the righty to work deeper into a game than he has all season. Milwaukee is a team I’m very high on this season, but the Brewers have lost six consecutive games and Christian Yelich is now out a month with an adductor strain. This is suddenly a pretty good matchup for high-level pitchers, so Cease should be excited about getting out there.

Additional Best Bets

Eduardo Rodriguez Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-131 – 1.5 units) vs. Orioles

Dusty May Over 3.5 Strikeouts (-134) vs. Guardians

Roman Anthony Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125) vs. Twins

Alec Bohm Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-121) vs. Cubs

Jonathan Aranda Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-115) vs. White Sox

Tyler Soderstrom Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125) vs. Rangers
