Tuesday Betting Recaps

Welcome to our daily recap of the sports betting action from the day before as dogs continued to bark in the NBA and NHL playoffs with two upsets in Game 1s of the second round of the Stanley Cup plays and dogs going 2-0 ATS with one upset one covering in a SU loss in the NBA.
Without further ado, let’s get to the details in our sport-by-sport recaps (including MLB dogs going 9-5 on the day) as well as updating the side and total records in each sport.

NBA: Lakers upset Warriors 117-112 late Tuesday in Game 1 of Western Conference semifinals (went Over betting total of 227 points). Earlier, Knicks (-10) beat Heat 111-105 to even their series at 1-1 but didn’t cover (went Over 207.5). Faves 1-1 SU but dogs 2-0 ATS on the night. Home teams 1-1 SU but road teams 2-0 ATS. Overs 2-0.

More NBA: Faves 3-3 SU so far in second round but dogs lead 4-2 ATS. Home/road teams also 3-3 SU but road teams lead 4-2 ATS. Overs lead 4-2. Faves still lead 31-18 SU and 26-23 ATS (52.1%) overall. Home teams 29-20 SU and 26-22-1 ATS (54.2%). Overs took 25-24 lead. Knicks were in the “zig-zag” (aka “loser of the last”) role after losing Game 1, but failed to cover, so zig-zag 0-2 ATS this round and dipped to 19-17-1 ATS (52.8%) overall.

NHL: Road dogs went 2-0 in 2nd-round Game 1s Tuesday night with Kraken (+175 in 5-4 OT win at Stars) and Panthers (+165 in 4-2 win at Maple Leafs). Over/Unders split 1-1. Dogs improved to 28-22 in playoffs with 2 PKs. Road teams even better at 33-19. Overs lead 27-25.
