When Derek Stevens and the Circa Sports crew changed the game with the Circa Million, and then really changed the game with the Circa Survivor, there was no question about the best football betting contests in the business. All they’ve done since then is raise the bar higher and higher with bigger guarantees, larger entry fields, and more mainstream coverage.
Well, the bar has really been raised now with the announcement of Circa Grandissimo, the highest-stakes football contest in the world. But, before getting to that, let’s answer the question that everybody has had for a while…”What’s the guarantee?!”

Circa Million
The Circa Million VII has a $6 million guaranteed prize pool.
The rules remain the same, as each entry costs $1,000 and each contestant can have up to five entries per person. Five NFL picks are made against spreads that come out on Thursday morning and do not change, regardless of any line adjustments in the market or any injuries that arise.
Each correct pick is worth a point, each push is worth a half-point, and losses are worth nothing. There are full-season prizes, with a $1 million top prize, and quarterly prizes for Weeks 1-4, 5-9, 10-13, and 14-18 that amount to $300,000 per quarter.
There is also a $100,000 “booby prize” for having the fewest number of points while making all 90 picks and a $50,000 prize for having the second-fewest number of points.
The contest has no rake, so anything above 6,000 entries to meet the $6 million guarantee goes into the quarter and full-season prize pools.
Circa Survivor
The 2025 Circa Survivor has a guaranteed prize pool of $15 million.
While the Circa Million guarantee stayed the same for this season, the Circa Survivor prize pool has increased by $5 million. Last year’s contest had a $10 million guarantee and drew 14,266 entrants at $1,000 per entry. There is a max of 10 entries per person and this contest also has no rake, so if there are more than 15,000 entries, the additional money goes right into the prize pool.
Contestants have to pick one team to win straight up each week, but once you use a team, you cannot use them again. While there are 18 weeks in the NFL season, there are 20 “weeks” in Circa Survivor because Thanksgiving/Black Friday and Christmas are their own “weeks”.
The contest is over when there are no entries left or when the season ends, at which point the prize pool will be split between either the entries that all lost during that final week of eligibility or with all of the entries that survived the entire season.
Circa Grandissimo
The new contest for this season is the Circa Grandissimo, which has a $100,000 entry fee and a guaranteed prize pool of $1.5 million.
Each entrant can have up to two entries and the same rules from the main Circa Survivor contest apply to this one as well. It will be very interesting to see how many entries this high-stakes field gets, but there is sure to be a lot of drama and a lot of interest for the inaugural season of the Circa Grandissimo.

How Do I Sign Up for the Circa Football Contests?
Sign-ups will open Friday, May 23 and can only be done in-person at Circa Resort & Casino or one of their other sportsbook locations in the state of Nevada. If you do not live in Nevada, you are required to have a Nevada-based proxy to put in your picks or will have to travel to Nevada each week to submit them yourself.
Weekly picks can be submitted at any Circa Sports location or on the Circa Sports app, so long as you are within the borders of Nevada.
The registration deadline for the 2025 Circa Million, Circa Survivor, and Circa Grandissimo is Saturday September 6 at 2 p.m. PT.
