NFL Survivor Picks
We have made it to the end of the regular season and a lot of Survivor entries are sitting in some pretty good positions. Some, however, are not, and will have to navigate some potentially choppy waters in Week 18. There are a lot of variables and moving parts, especially as the injury and rest reports start rolling in.
Favorites have been dominating for the last several weeks. Things were very chaotic early in the year, but stabilized pretty quickly, at least up until the Colts took a decent chunk of the remaining entries out in Week 17.

Hopefully this article has helped you organize your thoughts a bit throughout the course of the season. Hopefully you’ve gotten some tips along the way for how to manage future Survivor entries. And hopefully you’ve got some of the best options left in the quest to win or share the top prize when all the dust settles this week.
As usual, my focus here is on suggesting a team that is pretty widely available. That is going to vary greatly based on your pool.
Thank you to our friends at Team Rankings for sharing the Survivor tools over at PoolGenius throughout the season.
Week 18 NFL Survivor Teams to Consider
Baltimore Ravens (-19) over Cleveland Browns
The biggest favorite of the NFL season and the biggest favorite since Week 7 of the 2021 season. Of the remaining 18 Survivors in Circa Survivor, nobody has the Ravens. If you somehow still do, congratulations!
The Ravens are 94% to win per PoolGenius.
Green Bay Packers (-10) over Chicago Bears
There are two entries left in Circa Survivor with the Packers. Green Bay may treat this a bit like a preseason game, keeping Jordan Love sharp for a series or two or maybe a quarter or a half, as this game doesn’t matter all that much. The Packers need a win and Washington to lose to the Cowboys to move up and play the Rams instead of the Eagles.
With Washington nearly a touchdown road favorite, that seems unlikely, but we’ll see. The games will be going on simultaneously, so the Packers will likely be keeping an eye on that score while trying to handle their own affairs. Still, the Bears look pretty overmatched to say the least.
The Packers are 82% to win per PoolGenius.
Denver Broncos (-10.5) over Kansas City Chiefs
I personally used the Broncos for this “entry” back in Week 8. Denver is in a must-win situation against a skeleton crew Chiefs team here this week that will be sitting numerous starters, including Patrick Mahomes. So Sean Payton’s team needs to beat Carson Wentz to make the postseason.
This is an excellent defensive team going up against a slew of backups. Nothing is ever a lock. This feels fairly safe, though. Nobody has Denver available in Circa Survivor.
The Broncos are 84% to win per PoolGenius.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-13.5) over New Orleans Saints
I used the Buccaneers last week for this “entry”, so I don’t want to tip them again. Five entries have the Bucs available in Circa Survivor. I would imagine that they will all take them. The Bucs need to win to claim the NFC South and head to the playoffs thanks to Atlanta’s loss last week. Had that game against the Commanders gone differently, the Bucs would need a win and help.
They draw backup QB Spencer Rattler and the Bucs have been a really strong team with Mike Evans in the lineup. They’ll have all hands on deck at home here. This is probably the most optimal pick of the week if you have them.
The Buccaneers are 89% to win per PoolGenius.
Week 18 NFL Survivor Pick
Atlanta Falcons (-8) over Carolina Panthers
Clearly this is risky because the Falcons will be very much aware of what is happening in Tampa. But, this is a fair call to make. The Falcons still have incentive to get some important reps for Michael Penix Jr., even if the playoffs may not be a possibility.
Carolina’s offense has absolutely improved. Carolina’s defense has not. The Panthers are dead last in EPA/play, 31st in Dropback EPA, and 32nd in Rush EPA. The Falcons should be able to have all sorts of big offensive numbers in this game.
Like I said, there is some risk because the Falcons could go into a shell based on the Bucs’ performance, but 13/18 remaining Circa Survivors have Atlanta available, so I feel comfortable suggesting this one. I do think they win the game and finish with a winning season for Raheem Morris.
The Falcons are 77% to win per PoolGenius.
