NFL Week 13 best bets and betting odds
There are only six weeks left in the NFL regular season and we’re at the point where nearly every game has some measure of importance. Either the game has some sort of playoff implication or there are some draft order considerations. With so many teams in dire need of QB and WR help and a draft class featuring both, it’s hard not to think about those things.

We’re also starting to see coaches and coordinators fired. Some of those will provide a bump. Others will have the opposite effect. The stats still matter, but it feels like we have way more things to think about for these games than an average NFL season right now. It’s a lot to sort through on a weekly basis, but I did come to some conclusions.

Here are my favorite Week 13 NFL picks:
(Odds as of November 30, 2:25 p.m. PT)
Indianapolis Colts (-1, 42.5) at Tennessee Titans
It hasn’t been very pretty with Will Levis at QB for the Titans. A renewed optimism came about after the games against the Falcons and Steelers, but he’s failed to crack 200 yards since then and he’s already taken 13 sacks in five games as the starter. In the last three games, the Titans have topped out at 92 rushing yards as well. There just isn’t a lot to get excited about with this offense.
The top four games by yardage for the Colts have come at home and three of their four worst offensive performances have come on the road. They’ve still found ways to score points in most of their games, but I am hesitant to expect too much going to Nashville here in what is effectively a “last stand” game for Tennessee if they want any chance of being in the playoff picture.
I think this will be a tight, lower-scoring divisional affair, as the Titans offense has really stagnated the last three weeks and the Colts are pretty methodical these days with a limited number of explosive plays.
Pick: Under 42.5
Kansas City Chiefs (-6, 42.5) at Green Bay Packers
This was a game that I discussed earlier in the week as one that interested me and it still does, even with the line down to 6. Matt LaFleur is a solid head coach and he’s got the Packers moving in a positive direction right now. The offense has looked a lot better and Jordan Love is starting to have some success moving the football. This is also a pretty balanced offense that has over 100 rushing yards in six of the last seven games.
The defense is hit or miss at times, but the Chiefs are not the offensive juggernaut that they once were. They’ve been controlling games and staying ahead of the chains, but we’re not seeing a whole lot of home runs. Lots of singles and doubles. I think that makes it a little tricky to blow a team out, especially a Packers bunch trending up right now.
The Chiefs also have a big game against the Bills next week and just had emotional games before and after the bye, along with last week’s comeback win over the Raiders. I think it’s a good spot for Green Bay and they’re certainly playing at a higher level at the right time.
Pick: Packers +6
