Happy Drinksgiving from Las Vegas!
This Wednesday edition is dedicated to all of you who might have a few cocktails tonight and might need to get their Thanksgiving handicapping done early. And when I say you, I am really talking about me.
VSiN.com senior editor Zach Cohen has betting previews for all three games:
Bears at Lions, 12:30 p.m. ET (CBS): With Chicago having a good defense and an improved passing game, the Bears should be able to prevent this game from completely getting out of hand. >Read more.
Giants at Cowboys, 4:30 p.m. ET (Fox): I know the quarterback play in this game is going to be questionable, but the defenses in this game can give you nightmares. New York is 27th in the NFL in EPA per play allowed (0.068) and Dallas is 30th (0.091). Also, both teams happen to have weaknesses that should allow the opposing offense to move the ball a little bit. >Read more.
Dolphins at Packers, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC): All of the trends in the world favor the Packers here, but that’s just allowing us to get a good price on a Dolphins team that is better on both sides of the ball. Miami is good enough to win this game outright, and that’s how I think this one will play out. However, you might as well grab +3.5 as long as it’s out there. It’s good insurance if this is a close game. >Read more.
VSiN’s Michael Lombardi has questions about the Dolphins’ prospects in Green Bay:
The makers of the NFL schedule issued a challenge to the Miami Dolphins. Can they handle the cold, the elements, the short week, the hostile Packer crowd? Can they beat a good team on the road, or can they only win at home against lesser opponents, as they have the past two weeks beating up on the Raiders and New England?
Mike Somich shares his thoughts on the Thanksgiving Day menu.

Contest Corner
The deadline for Circa Survivor’s four-game Week 13a is tonight at 10 PT. There are 54 entries left from the original 14,266.
Here is the availability for the favorites:
Lions: 17
Cowboys: 50
Packers: 29
Chiefs: 37
Five entries don’t have the Lions or the Chiefs and one doesn’t have the Lions, Packers or Chiefs.
Circa owner Derek Stevens, appearing on Follow The Money with Pauly Howard and fill-in co-host Mike Palm, revealed what he knew about the Survivor who didn’t make the deadline Saturday night. While there were some concerns about why someone would blow a chance at $14.2 million, the no-show apparently is a prominent Las Vegas CEO who is too embarrassed to go public that he forgot to make the pick.
>Adam Burke offers his Survivor advice.
Special programming note: The four-part Circa Survivor will run in sequence tonight, starting at 9 PT on VSiN’s video platforms, including the new VSiN Watch app.
If that doesn’t work for you, you can watch at your leisure on our YouTube page.
A Drinksgiving tradition: 15 NHL games
All but two teams are in action tonight.
Jonathan Davis points out two trends in the NHL that are featured in the Jets-Kings game.
The Jets beat the Wild on Monday. Teams are 1-6 in the next game after beating the Wild. The Jets who beat the Wild back in October are the only team this season to win their next game after beating Minny. The Kings are coming off a loss to SJ. Teams are 5-1 in their next game after losing to the Sharks. LA is one of the five.
JD will post his Best Bets later this morning.
