Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Friday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Friday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. I’ll write three up per day, but I’ll add additional ones in an “Additional Best Bets” section. I go lighter on baseball than I do other sports. My MLB units are 50% of what my normal units are.

J.T. Realmuto Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+100) vs. Mets

Phillies at Mets – 7:10 pm ET

Realmuto comes into this game having gone Over 1.5 hits, runs, and RBIs (HRR) in five of his last nine. He’s also averaging 3.1 HRR per game over the last nine games. That said, Realmuto arguably comes into this one swinging a hot bat, and that’s significant looking at this specific matchup. New York will have a lefty on the mound in Tobias Myers, and Realmuto is one of the few reliable righty bats on Philadelphia. Sure, he hasn’t always been a player that prefers facing southpaws, and he’s likely going to be hitting towards the bottom of the lineup, but this feels like a game in which he can step up.

Will Warren Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+149) vs. Red Sox

Yankees at Red Sox – 7:10 pm ET

I looked into taking the juicy Over on 4.5 strikeouts for Warren tonight, but I’ll just take my chances with him reaching six. At +149 odds, it’s super enticing as he looks to face a Red Sox lineup that struggles with Ks. This season, Boston has a strikeout rate of 22.1% and whiff percentage of 25.5%. Also, both of those numbers are higher against righties. Of course, pitching in a rivalry game, at Fenway Park, could get the nerves going for Warren, but I like the matchup too much to completely ignore it.

Walker Buehler Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+130) vs. Dodgers

Dodgers at Padres – 9:45 pm ET

Buehler has been on fire with his swing-and-miss stuff lately, striking out at least five batters in three of his last four starts. He’ll never have the stuff he used to have in Los Angeles, but his ERA is now a respectable 3.96 on the season — and 3.32 when pitching at home. He’s learning to deal with the new reality of where his arm is, and I like him to have at least five strikeouts against his former team tonight. For as good as the Dodgers lineup is, plenty of pitchers have had success in the Ks column against them. Buehler, who is a fiery competitor, will look to be the next.
