Sunday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Sunday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. I’ll write three up per day, but I’ll add additional ones in an “Additional Best Bets” section. I go lighter on baseball than I do other sports. My MLB units are 50% of what my normal units are.
Joe Ryan Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+126) vs. Guardians
Guardians at Twins – 2:20 pm ET
Ryan is coming off a seven-K game against the Tigers. Over his last 20 starts, the righty is striking out 6.2 batters per game. Also, the last time the Twins hosted the Guardians, Ryan had five strikeouts. I wouldn’t say I love this matchup, but Over 4.5 is tough to lay off at +126 odds.
Kyle Teel Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-108) vs. Cardinals
White Sox at Cardinals – 2:15 pm ET
Teel is averaging 2.0 hits, runs, and RBIs against righties this season, so my eyes went here with McGreevy on the mound for the Cardinals. McGreevy also happens to spam fastballs, which is good for Teel. The catcher is batting .304 against fastballs this season.
Randy Arozarena Over 1.5 Total Bases (+112) vs. Athletics
Mariners at Athletics – 4:05 pm ET
I’m going right back to Arozarena today. He came through for us last night, so why not take him at plus-money odds against another lefty? He’s actually 3 for 5 with a double and an RBI against Jacob Lopez, so I like him to do more damage in his matchup.
