Saturday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Saturday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. I’ll write three up per day, but I’ll add additional ones in an “Additional Best Bets” section. I go lighter on baseball than I do other sports. My MLB units are 50% of what my normal units are.
Randy Arozarena Over 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+110) vs. Rockies
Mariners at Rockies – 3:30 1pm ET
I hate to keep writing up the same things bout Arozarena, but there’s just no chance I’m not backing him again. Arozarena has gone Over 2.5 HRR in seven of his last eight games, and I’m willing to take the plus-money odds for him to do it again. He’s hitting both righties and lefties hard, and he’s in Coors Field for one more game.
Dean Kremer Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+104) vs. Angels
Twins at Angels – 4:07 pm ET
I wouldn’t say I’m a big fan of Kremer’s ability, but I’ll take my chances with him to miss bats against one of the most poorly disciplined offenses in baseball. In a similar matchup against the Orioles on August 10, he finished with seven strikeouts. He also happens to have a pretty strong splitter, which could trip up the Angels.
Jacob Misiorowski Over 8.5 Strikeouts (+128) & Alt Strikeouts 10+ (+225 – 0.5 units) vs. Orioles
Brewers at Orioles – 7:20 pm ET
Misiorowski has had 10 games with at least 10 strikeouts this season. Perhaps this can be another. While this is a tough stadium for pitchers, this isn’t a tough lineup to run though. The Orioles have a strikeout rate of 24.1% this year, and Misiorowski has the nastiest stuff in baseball.
