American League vs. National League (-134, 7.5)

The National League has been the far superior league in baseball this season, going 162-129 in games against American League teams.

The American League’s cause is further hurt by Toronto Blue Jays fans stuffing the ballot box for their team, with a Blue Jays player making the fan vote final at nearly every position for a team that is currently 45-51.

Handicapping the starting pitchers in the All-Star Game does not serve much purpose, as almost every pitcher will throw only one inning, with two innings being the maximum. Citizens Bank Park ranks ninth among MLB ballparks in home runs this season, with 121.

Picks: National League Moneyline -134 and Over 7.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: National League -163 and Total 8.1)
