Saturday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Saturday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m going to keep these much shorter to cut down on my workload a little.
Munetaka Murakami Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110) vs. Nationals
Nationals at White Sox – 4:10 pm ET
Murakami has been awesome for Chicago this season, as he has already racked up 11 homers and 20 RBIs early in the season. Well, the lefty slugger gets to go up against a righty today, and that should make for another productive afternoon at the plate.
Marcus Semien Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+100) vs. Rockies
Rockies at Mets – 4:10 pm ET
Jose Quintana is on the mound for the Rockies today, and he’s not necessarily a dangerous starter at this point. That said, I wanted to grab a righty bat to go up against the southpaw, and Semien is the one that stands out. He’s 6 for 15 with three doubles against the lefty, so there’s already some familiarity there.
Jeffrey Springs Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-126) vs. Rangers
Athletics at Rangers – 7:05 pm ET
Springs has had at least five strikeouts in four consecutive starts, so he has been regularly going Over a total of 4.5 — which is available at a decent price at some prediction markets. The Rangers also happen to have the fourth-highest strikeout rate (24.7%) in baseball this year.
Additional Picks
Trevor Story Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+102) vs. Orioles
Bailey Ober Over 3.5 Strikeouts (-137 – 1.5 units) vs. Rays
Corbin Carroll Over 3.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+105) vs. Padres
